Dungeons & Dragons © Wizards of the Coast

By Lolth, there are spiders in here!

Currently working through: Vhaeraun's page as proof of concept

Next Will be: Drow of the Underdark (Second Edition)

What is this website?

This website is a compilation of all Forgotten Realms drow lore that we have access to, organized together in a way that makes it easier to engage with and understand. Only canon lore is included on this site - Information found in sourcebooks, Dragon Magazine, old web articles that have been since archived, and (occasionally) Novels - Though the last is currently bottom of the priority list, and something that needs be handled carefully.

Exact page numbers are given to where the information has been sourced from. Occasionally, you will find information scattered throughout the site twice. This is intentional. (Ie; Information about Traitor Priestesses will be included both on the Menzobarrenzan page and Vhaeruan's page, as the information is both applicable to Menzobarrenzan and Vhaeraun)

Website is currently a larger Wip. In the meantime, visit the guestbook and talk about your drow!

Why is there only a navigation on the homepage?

The website is currently still being built up, and a lot of the pages exist as loose, disconnected structures. When I finish setting the website up entirely, I will go back and add a full navigation to every page on the website. However, for now the home page is going to be the place that acts as a full navigation to the site. This is something I would like to fix sooner rather than later, as it absolutely kills the bandwidth - But stick with me on it for now.

I'm a mobile user and cannot navigate the site!

The site was, admittedly, not made with mobile in mind, and not something I was considering when making the skeleton of the site. Oops. I will eventually make a mobile friendly version of the site - For now, if you go up to where you'd normally find "New tab" and "New incognito" as options, you should be able to click "Desktop Site."

Why is Vhaeraun's page finished so early?

I already had his lore compiled together, so he is being used as a guinea pig on how I want to format and present things.

Legality notice: Everything being posted here is being posted under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 License. I don't own anything on this website unless otherwise stated, and hold no intention on attempting to make money off of it. This is simply a larger resource that fans of drow like myself can use to quickly find information thats gone out of publication, or can be found scattered across similarly run fan-websites. A lack of credit given on an individual page is not an attempt to claim ownership, as all rights to Dungeons & Dragons belong to Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro. Sources to where information is from will be offered by the information itself, and eventually I would like to add links to where you can buy official versions of the books. However, given that the website is currently under construction... bare with me.

Change-log

August 8, 2026 - Got All of the smaller cities and settlements specific to the underdark have their blurbs up on the settlement page. However, the cities that have enough information for a second page only have a blurb giving the idea of the city. These will be updated once the pages for these cities have been created.

August 7, 2026 - Got The Drow of Cormanthor Page up and running

August 4, 2026 - Added in half of the smaller underdark city descriptions, starting at Buiyrandyn and ending at Menzoberranzan. Did not begin working on the cities that have enough information to require larger pages.

August 3, 2026 - Created the Guestbook for the site. Started on Vhaeraun's page, finished the first two tabs. Finished creating the larger framework of the site, and any of the required connecting pages.

August 2, 2026 - Coded the main base of the site, as well as the pages that will require tabbing information. Found backgrounds for the sites main pages (yay!)
